Kunkel's fleet consists of nine New York State Department of Health-certified ambulances with Global Positioning and a New York State Certified First Responder Fly Car. All of our vehicles are zoned strategically throughout the city, allowing us to dispatch the closest medical team to an incident location. Each ambulance is like an emergency room on wheels and contains advanced life support medical equipment including cardiac monitors and defibrillators. Our ambulances have 2-way radio capability to allow contact with both headquarters and hospitals. We even have the ability to transmit a patient's EKG directly to the receiving hospital, while en route. This means you have the quickest and most capable response when Kunkel is on the scene.
